Louis Andrew Murillo was born in California on Dec. 13, 1922; passed away in Pasadena, CA, on March 23, 2020. He taught Spanish at the Univerisity of California, Berkeley University for over 40 years. He is well known for his academic work and publications on Cervantes. He was the author of The Cyclical Night: Irony in James Joyce and Jorge Luis Borges, Selected Poems, and the Golden Dial: Temporal configuration in Don Quijote.
